Melissa Henderson is an essayist, magazine writer, and novelist whose work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The Cauldron, and Brand X. She’s working on her next book and lives in the Scottish hills with her husband and their two catbeasts.

Melissa is currently strapped to her desk, hammering away at her next book, an epistolary, coming-of-age novel set in ’90s New England that explores female identity, sexuality, and personal reinvention. The only food currently allowed is anything flat enough to be slid beneath the door. When she’s done, she may be given permission to update this news feed. That’s not a for sure, however.
